Ultra uses the annual report as a tool to strengthen the relationship with its stakeholders

This publication covers the year’s principal events, achievements and challenges of the Company and its businesses – Extrafarma, Ipiranga, Oxiteno, Ultracargo and Ultragaz – as well as tracing the proposed corporate way ahead. Every year, Ultra fine tunes this report to include new and/or more pertinent indicators (both quantitative and qualitative) to bring it closer to the ideal model according to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC).

This Annual Report is divided into two sections. The first covers information and key data for Ultra as a whole, describing macro-strategies, macro-initiatives and macro-policies, demonstrating the numbers relating to operational and financial performance forming the consolidated results for all the businesses. The second section contains the scenarios, projects, actions, achievements and challenges for each one of the subsidiary companies in relation to their Human (employees, suppliers, clients and consumers), Intellectual (investment and innovative capacity) and Socio-environmental (initiatives adopted for the benefit of environmental preservation and actions on behalf of the community) capital.

The numbers which relate to Ultra’s financial performance have been subject to verification by an external audit. The entire content reflects interviews held at the Company as well as input from several areas and provided by employees who contributed to the selection and prioritization of the most relevant themes.
