AmPm, the largest convenience store network in Brazil, chooses Oracle as its cloud partner to ensure scalability, security, and high availability in its infrastructure.
AmPm, the largest convenience store chain in the country, has been continuously investing in innovation to diversify its product and service offerings and enhance the consumer experience, gaining increasing prominence in the minds and hearts of its customers. With the goal of bringing a new infrastructure to manage and boost its business, the company has selected Oracle as its cloud partner. Oracle offered better conditions and database redundancy, which involves using two databases simultaneously to ensure support continues even if one of them fails. Additionally, in terms of security, Oracle also ensured protection with Oracle Guard and Data Safe, an artificial intelligence system that detects and alerts about potential vulnerabilities.
“Among all the players we analyzed, Oracle provided a comprehensive product that meets our current and future needs and aligns with our business and key pillars, such as scalability, security, and high availability. With this partnership, we expect to further enhance our performance through the complete set of cloud resources, market best practices, and the training of our team,” said Marcos Peron, CTO of AmPm.
The implementation at the company will be gradual, expanding according to its needs and without any concerns about system downtime.
